The Catholic Community from the Diocese of San Diego joins millions of people around the world to pray and fast during the 40 Days for Life Campaign. This campaign is a continuous peaceful prayer vigil for 40 days in front of abortion facilities with the aim to provide resources to pregnant women in crisis and save babies from abortion. More than 24,000 babies have been saved, and 155 abortion centers have been closed since 2007 when the 40 Days for Life organization was established. This is possible thanks to millions of people who constantly fast and pray for the end of abortion.
